These are the questions asked most frequently by Irish Teachers:
Do I need to register with an agency, or can I just send my CV?
You are welcome to send your CV in the first instance. One of our consultants will be in touch to discuss the next steps which will include a more detailed registration process, staring with a Skype/Telephone interview.
Remember we assure our schools top quality teachers so we are as thorough as possible to select the right people for our clients. We also want to know as much about you as possible to ensure we place you into an appropriate post.
How much does it cost to register with Thames Teachers?
Its costs you nothing to register with Thames Teachers! There are some incidental costs to consider when applying for any teaching jobs such as Police Checks, Visas and travel.
Do I need an Irish Police Certificate (Guarda Vetting)?
Yes, you will require an Irish Police Certificate to work in London schools. This needs to be recent and original. We will need to see a copy when you arrive in London and some of our schools will request to see the copy when you arrive on your first day.
You will need to make an application in writing to the Superintendent in charge of the district wherein you reside, or formerly resided, in the Republic of Ireland.
